Taiwo was born into a family whose father is one of the top researchers/faculty who designed the curriculum/research theme of Institute of Agricultural Research & Training (IART) and the Federal College of Agriculture Ibadan; and this background provided the fondness in academics and bio-feedstock.
He graduated as top 1% in the department of Chemistry and Faculty of Science at FUNAAB where he looked at sustainable materials for nanotechnology & nanomedicine in collaboration with Professor David Diaz Diaz research group, University of Regensburg Germany giving him a knowledge to start a climate tech and sustainable Startup alongside his cofounders.
Taiwo went beyond his peers early at a very young age in terms of collaborating with top global scientists and in receiving several awards (& scholarships) within his community, state, country and Africa as a whole.
He was among the top young African scientists that was awarded “Next Einstein Award” due to his research work in Africa which was delivered in Europe and Asia.
In terms of leadership, he has held various leadership position and at present he is the Operation Manager (Canada and Nigeria) while also being one of the Board of Directors for Disability Empowerment Foundation.
Taiwo will complete his doctorate program by June 2024 from the University of Alberta Canada.
